Hussein maintains a broad and growing civil litigation practice, with a focus on subrogation matters involving product liability, property damage, motor vehicle claims, and contractor negligence. Prior to joining Mason Caplan Roti LLP, Hussein articled with the legal department of a major Canadian insurance company where he worked on a wide range of matters, including bodily injury and accident benefits, property damage, subrogation, commercial general liability and fraud claims.
Hussein received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School. Hussein was a Division Leader in the Administrative Law Division at Osgoode Hall’s Community and Legal Aid Services Programme legal clinic where he had the opportunity to engage in law reform, community organizing, and educational outreach. Prior to law school, Hussein received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from York University where he graduated magna cum laude.
Outside the workplace, Hussein is an avid runner, a Toronto sports enthusiast, and enjoys reading compelling memoirs.
